    scrapping a 14x60 1973 mobile home.

    How much money could i possibly make working by myself tearing down this trailer and seperating all different categories of metals for most profit. no tongue on trailer or axles but everything else is all there. thanks ahead for advice.

    dang not what i wanted to hear...i thought the frame was where the money was at cus if i cut it at 2 foot ill get 355 a ton for it so i was hopin there was a few ton there... thanks for your reply!

    Not a few, but there is a couple. I do it, but I like to make trailers out of the frames...campers too.

    The hourly wage is not real great tearing down mobile homes & campers, so it's something you wanna do when you have idle time.

    Well I needed to make some so my son and I are tearing down a double wide. I will not do it again for free or only scrap. You will need help. Depends on your prices on steel. The one I'm doing has copper wires but no copper pipe. One a single wide you may be looking at around $600.00 maybe $700.00 if you break all down. My yard gave me alum. Sheet price which was .60 per pound and it was all dirty. So just remember you are in for a lot of work. Let me know if you have any other questions.
