    copper prices in Arizona

What has been the price change of copper annually for the last 5yrs?
Is there a dramatic change or not besides the last few months?
I turn in electronic recycle but wondering about adding metals to my list. Not sure if it is worth the time

Thanks. I do not know the grade level to well but this scrapper that was picking up my crts and pulling out the copper, which I would never do, said in the last few months copper has dropped. From what you are showing me annually for the last few years it seems to have risen.

I take in the power cables of computers and get 50c lb from a small shop. So looks like they are getting the better half. I do not have a commercial lot or yard but tearing down computers and turning them in brings in some extra money. I just got laid off from work Monday and now I will have to do it full time. Going to be tough.

On average - scrap copper prices have dropped about one dollar a pound over the last two months. I'm betting they'll go back up next Spring.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Please forgive if this is covered elsewhere - is #2 copper bare wire that is varnished or is it insulated wire like power cords? I think I've seen it both ways.

Yes on the first part, and insulated #2 at our yard is smaller than the power supply wires; and ribbon cables from the inside of computers. Power cords down to the P.S. wires are #1 here. Every yard is a little different.
