    2016 New Year New Prices

    Called the yard got the following prices...

    Sheet Iron $30 a ton
    #2 Ins wire $.54 lb.
    Alum MLC $.28 lb.

    Give it a bit of time.. Everyone still has Christmas Crusties in their eyes still.. nothing in business is flowing right now.
    I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

    pleasent suprise today at my yard, cars up from $40 to $60 per ton

    Cold today, 3F and windy when I took a little alum and smaller Cu tubing in today. Glad the nf guy has a drive through operation.

    Alum got classed as "painted" and 30 cents a pound, tubing was # 2 Cu @ $1.25 a pound. The new norm I guess...

    30 ton for shred and heavy melt iron
    .07 for ballasts
    dirty radiators .18 lb
    clean radiators .30

    Called my yard yesterday to see how prices were (or if) they were moving.
    $40/Ton on Sheet Steel.

    Still calling the Curbco guys to come and snag at $40/ton
