UPDATE: Utility Trailer with now title...

First off i'd like to say THANK YOU to the forum members who gave me all the helpfull advice. Without you all I'd be lost......

I went to the state tax commision today. They had the motor vehicle police some out and inspect the VIN#. They ran the VIN....NO ISSUES! They put on a new VIN tag on the tounge. After state taxes/fees and a new state title($6) Total cost today $19.70. I walked out the door KNOWING I'm the owner of the trailer now. It's going to cost me another $54 for the plates. I'm going to go get those as soon as I have the trailer brake switch installed in my truck.

    THANK YOU-THANK YOU-THANK YOU

Congratulations. Nice looking trailer. I would suggest putting up some good size sides, especially if your doing junk hauling as you mentioned the other day.

That definitely works do, and the way the sides are, be good for hauling other stuff as well, that you might need to tie down.

Does the VIN match the old number already on the trailer, or did they assign a new number?

Thats cool, wish it was that easy here in PA, if there was no title the trailer would be nothing more than scrap.

Glad it all worked out for ya.
