    Music types

As the title says...what kind of music do you rock out to?

I flop all over to a few types based on my moods/what I am doing.

    But I like

    Rap
    country
    pop
    rock
    old school rock
gothic like system of the down, seether and so on...not the "yelling" groups that are out now.

but yea as you can I like a wide range of songs. What are some of the songs do you like?

system of a down, five finger death punch, hurt, papa roach, nickelback, seether, metallica, e-town concrete

For those of you guys/gals like something on the heavy side check out five finger death punch's bad company video on youtube. When they went and did a show for the troops in iraq.

Rocker by trade, old and new. http://www.kbpi.com/main.html

Feel fortunate to have seen many of the greats back when Family Life didn't take priority and tickets prices were still reasonable. Multiple shows of Stevie Ray, Clapton, The Dead, The Who, Jethro Tull, Allman Brothers (daughter is named after this song)

Best place to see a show right here in Denver. Set just inside the foothills over looking Denver's city lights.http://www.redrocksonline.com/

I must confess though, from Thanksgiving on it's Christmas music 90% of the time.

    Here's mine:

    Christian(all genres)
Punk- old Rancid, Descendants, Dropkick Murphys
Ska- Less than Jake, Curb Squirrels, O.C. Supertones
Country- not that crappy pop country that's destroying radio stations either.
    Classical
also comedy music that parodies other songs

    that's about it

I have to say I am with Easyrecycle and CS on this, but would add Dubstep and french rap. If the music fits my mood I will listen to it.

pretty much with everything here except I listen to very little country. Some is ok but mostly not my style. I love classic rock and there's some good new rock, don't really listen to the super heavy metal bands but do listen to slipknot, bullet for my valentine, five finger death punch, etc. Avenged Sevenfold is great too. Apocolyptica is a good too, and different.

all those are good bands, never heard of e-town concrete though. will have to check them out. I'd have to add Rise Against, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Middle Class Rut, Chevelle, Hoobastank, Theory of a Deadman, and Shinedown to the list too.

I like rap too but not as many there. 2Pac, Eminem, Dr. Dre, some 50 Cent is all that's coming to mind right now. Ludacris was good back in the day too.

The only one I haven't heard of is MCR, I don't why but I just can't get into Manson. Love all of them as well, my list could take up probably a whole page on here. Shinedown is definitely #2 on my all time favorite list. I'm also starting to get into AlterBridge, their new song Isolation is pretty good. Adelita's Way, their song Sick is awesome. I remember I was driving to Ga in '07 and once I popped 5FDP in the cd player, set the cruise control @ 115mph and I was good to go.

Slipknot is crazy, went to a concert they had in Philly and it was NUTS. They played Duality (my favorite song) besides Wait and Bleed. A friend actually got me started with Slipknot and my music taste did a complete 360. I used to be 100% into rap when I was younger and the 3 I listened to the most were Bone Thugs n Harmony, Eminem and Dre.

Yeah check them out, they're from NorCal so maybe that's why you haven't heard of them, they go by MC Rut so as not to be confused with My chemical romance (I like them too, along with AFI, etc)

    here's they're first music video:

    and their second:

All that noise from a 2 man band!
