    History,how it's consept has changed.

For those who want a respite from discussing scrap tho this effects it and all other world events.
History has always been a great predictor of the future. Those who truely control and guide this world and it's future are well aware of this.

most of our personal view of history is based on our own lives and a little on the lives of our fathers.

there was a term or, terms that separated ancient and modern history refereed to as BC and AD. I was brought up to know this as before Christ and after Christ as the separation period was 2015 years ago about the time line of his life ( imagined or real) later it was changed to represent before and after the common era.

Here is history as it stands today. On 9/11. 2001 most of today's 30 year olds were 15 the day the world and relative history changed. Most retentive history today goes only back to that time not only was it history changing but para-dime changing.

I,m not going into my beliefs on that event bu,t only how it has changed the world and how it effects our future. The 1,2 punch of 0/11,2001 and the economic collapse of 11/2008 to us as the commanders of the world. gave China and others a chance to step into that position using our own greed and complacency as a weapon.

The problem China did't foresee is the fact that during their Red Army revolution they murdered every person suspected of being inventive including those who wore glassed thinking they may be avid readers or educated. (this is where POL Pot got his direction in Cambodia). As a result China instead of being a country of invention, (gun powder, guns, ship builders etc) became a nation of imitators. We believe the U.S. is safe because WE are Chinas #1 market, we are no, we are a distant 3rd behind the euro market and the Asian market which includes India.

Who better to imitate then a country that,in a few short decades, went from Beaver trappers,Buffalo hinters and farmers to the world power. The flaw in China's plan was they copied us including mistakes. This brings us to the resiliency to us as scrapper.

We ,by nature are survivors and, inventors. what ever your beliefs of the future, you will be a relative force in what ever happens. Learn all you can, study fore casts (market)( take them with a grain of salt) Study history, those who got us in this position do. Do you think fiat currency or, planned inflation is a new idea thought op by the brilliant banksters of today ? In the year one the Roman coin of exchange was pure silver by the fall of the Roman empire that same coin was 5% silver or less. Do you still think history dose not repete it self. It doesn't, for those who don't know it mcw.

We live in very interesting times. These days, those who speak the truth are told they are being intolerant. It would seem that there is no tolerance for truth and that one must accept lies without speaking up. The emperor has no clothes, but those are a great set of togs he is sporting. Viva la revolution!

Then you pick up the pieces and start again.
That would be repeating history on the upswing, am I correct?

Just picking your brain old dude, with the utmost respect.
we have seen or learned about countless countries rise to power all over the earth and also pummeled into the ground.
I know it's not as simple as the few words I used, but life will go on, it always does.
The ideas this country are founded on are too strong to fail, we know them and cherish them...well most of us
that is what makes us a great country...

I personally have never been a "dooms day" type. I do believe in life cycles and history has a way of repeating, mostly do to "greed" and religious fundamentalist. Bad times will always occur and better times will follow, self determination, the will to survive and the "destiny" of mankind insure us of that.

My biggest fear is greed, unchecked greed is so destructive! The exchange of wealth is darn right scary, with the middle class loosing quality of life. A home should be every man's (family's) castle, but why should any man have so many castles, with each one bigger and better than the last one?

The problem with the middle class is that it's being split. You're doing well, or you're not. It can be a good opportunity for some, though- a lot of successful businesses began in the Great Depression.

It's not a good time, though. A lot of people and businesses are just hanging on. I look at the age of business trucks and equipment as an indicator of economic prosperity. Let's just say that it isn't looking too pretty....

many owe their lives to "the company store".

even local, state and federal type governments.

the "company store" always gets it's cut much like the casinos.

the cycling of "money" makes the interest grow for those in the know.
