    Scrap a satellite?

So I'm sitting here earl Sunday morning watching the history channel and they are talking about advancing technology and satellites. I got to thinking where are all the old ones and what do they do with them. I'm sure they contain a wealth of good escrap. I know it's highly unlikely to get your hands on one as most burn up reentering the atmosphere. Anyway it was just a thought.

I know lying is wrong, but if the elephant man came in now in a blouse with some make up on, and said, "How do I look?" Would you say, bearing in mind he's depressed and has respiratory problems, would you say, "Go and take that blusher off you mis-shapened elephant tranny?" No. You'd say, "You look nice... John""

not Don Knotts, It was Andy Griffifth, he owned a family salvage business, wanted a gold satellite that was going to burn in the atmosphere and make millions of dollars, Thats all I remember.

I have seen him in lots of things, but never a salvage yard owner.

How many years back was the show on the air?
