    Hello from SC

Good evening to all from South Carolina, my friends call me JD.
As you can tell by my avatar I was a Wisconsinite for the majority of my life (Melvin Gordon for Heisman!). I just absolutely hate cold weather. I lived in south FL for a while, but moved to the Myrtle Beach vicinity to be closer to my family including three nephews aged 1.25yrs to 8yrs. I'm pretty much an amateur scrapper. I started after buying my housing, and tearing out a broken heat pump. I also had a few pounds of bare bright copper. I ended up getting something like $110. I cleaned everything on the heat pump which helped. Anyway, I hope to learn from all of you, and possibly help as well.

Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

    Thanks,
To all for the warm welcome. I know I'll be able to learn a lot from you all. I never realized how much you can make just from scrapping. I saw one place online that was paying $1.60 for brass shell casings. I reload all my centerfire ammo, but my rimfire ammo I'll start saving those cases. I know it'll take a lot of .22lr cases to equal a pound, but I like to do a lot of plinking and looking for coyotes since they're a real nuisance around here. I'm not much of a hunter anymore and I never believed in killing an animal unless you are going to eat it. However, I have no problem killing a coyote since I believe they're responsible for the disappearance of 4 of my cats.
