I think we need to reduce the size of the MESH in our posting STRAINER!!!!!! Mesh is the screen through which materials are sifted. I was referring to the newb actually posting a statement like he did at the beginning of this thread. It sounded like he was above what we do, but he was going to join us for awhile...as long as no one was looking. Just my two cents.

I basicaly describe my aelf as a Constitutional Anarchist. which means the constitution the bill of rights the golden rule and the ten commandments, along with education (practicle, not necessarily formal) moral values and common sence are all the law and regulation we need. there fore I would not restrict posters who are not abusive, they will come around and learn or, go elsewhere.

some times ya just gotta apply a little tough love side note: if you study history what is described above used to be called democrats then after the war they were called republicans, now days many in the government refer to them as potential terrorists.

oooh oooh! olddude! i tell people this all the time. for the internet/cellphone generation, "formal education is obsolete, while practical education will never be"

the only exceptions are trade schools, like auto-mechanics, IT Techs, and doctors/lawyers

No one was trying to offend you in our previous replies.Since we didnt know your skill level, knowledge level or common sense level we were trying to HELP you by ensuring you didnt spend time money and other resources on a project that could possibly kill you.I recently purchased a lot of ewaste from somone who attempted to refine ewaste without the proper equipment or knowledge and he will be attached to a oxygen tank the rest of his life. There is a college degrees worth of information and knowledge here take it or leave it.

Steel, Electroplating, Glass (lightbulb manufaturing / Multiple) Aluminum production, Pharmacutical Manufacturing, Brake linings, Plastics manufacturing, plating, electro-mechanical coatings, Steel casting (did I mention that) , paint production, Limestone mining (above-ground and below), Acrylics, Fuel Storage facilities, Apliance manufacturing and testing, and the list goes on. That being said, In my original post I am pretty sure that I said that I am looking to get into the world of scrapping / e-waste recycling as a hobby First, then move on to a more lucrative venture. I myself am unemployed, due to the economy. A lot of factors played a part in my situation, no doubt. About safety, I think I can handle that, most of the knowlege I already have, and what I don't already know, I can read! * First line, first post "Without trying to infringe". I have multiple reasons for getting into the world of recycling. First, Hobby, Second, Food and clothing, Third, keep all of the nasties out of our ground water, ( we do need water) and potentially helping with some philanthropic organization. Homeless, Children, etc. All of those will still need to be investigated to appropriate the funds, if they ever come to fruition. As most of you already know here, that Americans throw away litterally tons of gold avery year, because it's easier. I have been guilty of that, myself. If I can stop doing that, and use it for food for me and my kids, so much the better. I'm not looking to get rich, but would like to be able to walk into a grocery store and not be forced into making the decision to buy milk, or eggs.
If the greed takes you by the throat and you are worried that I may take some of "your" scrap, don't worry. I am pretty sure that there is enough to go around for now. as for the ground floor opportunity, Clearly I am a newb to the recycle / reclaim world of e- waste, even though I happened to work for a large scale e-waste / Recycling company here in the state. I am merely trying to get some info on how to start the process on my own. and share some ideas which may come in the future.
Thanks for the you better be careful, and don't try this at home welcoming replies to my first post.

If we can move forward, I am interested in a couple of things, and thought some might share some un-biased knowlege on this forum. I am not looking for the facebook environment to which a lot of the mentality here seems to lean...

Feel free to comment, and I will come up with some questions for this forum and see if this "forum" really is.

    Thank you for your time.

xodiax...not going to lie friend...i am more of a hobbyist when it comes to scrapping...but i intend to turn it into a main source of income...as far as this being a facebook type environment...i think you are crazy...no offense meant...Ive been on this forum for roughly a month...and as long as you are courteous (which you should be no matter where you are..internet or the real world) the people here will treat you very well...I have found nothing but helpful information both from previous posts and questions Ive asked myself...check your attitude man...I have found nothing but good people with expert opinions...even when i ask a dumb question I am treated with respect...moral of the story dont get an attitude and dont get butt hurt...same as in life bro.
