I'm pretty sure there is more relevant and correct information in wikipedia, than in a 10 or 15 year old Britannica.



For example, read the page for "spark testing". Everything is quoted and cited from actual books.

I understand why you are hesitant, but we all need to acknowledge hat some people who actually write read encyclopedia entries have no idea what they are talking about, and then nobody can correct the mistakes. I find wikipedia much more appealing.

Go ahead and make a bogus edit to wikipedia, something that is obviously made up, and it will get removed in at least 24 hours.

Just make a bogus edit, and you'll see what I mean. Its a really nice operation they have going. Nobody is watching what time you posted something, and I'm not guaranteeing something anything is perfect. What I mean by the 24 hour thing, is simply that when you post something, it will usually get check by other editors and readers. When somebody sees something bogus (usually takes less than a day or 24 hours) then they will go through and edit it out or revert it to a previous version.
