New to me CPU from an industrial board

I found this on a board my neighbor and fellow scrapper tossed over the fence. It was some kind of a control board. It also had to eproms and several large removalble ic's.

I have no idea what this might get grouped with for selling purposes. Mike.

    Not a CPU

    http://www.datasheets.org.uk/SDM856JG*-datasheet.html

Basically, this components converts analog data to digital... Maybe others could explain what it does better then me.

The type of package is called "hybrid" as it encapsulate a small ceramic board indise the plastic.
These kind of hybrids are usually heavily laden with either gold or palldium inside.

Any idea who would be most likely to want to buy it? I sell most of my stuff to ewasted and PTS has gotten a little of my material as well, Mike.

To be honest... i wouldn't know.
I keep and process all of the really high grade stuff like CPU's, fingesr and sometimes pins.
The rest are sold to a larger dealer.

You might want to look around electronics vintage collectors communities or at eBay, though i doubt it will bering in any big bucks...
If i would to sell it, it would be in the CPU pail.

I saw that listing and like you said no complete sales on record. I will ask Ewasted what stack to put it in. Mike.

Who is "ewasted"? What is their web site address? I'm looking for a buyer for the same type of scrap that Mike sells. I'd like to find a trusted resource to sell my e-scrap to. Thank you!

If you click that link into the Buyers and Sellers forum his link is the first one. It says start by Ewasted underneath the thread title. It might have changed by the time you go there but its very easy to find.

All of our buyers in the buy/sell section have a good reputation and you can rest assured when you deal with one of them. Just pick one that looks the best to you. You'll find different posts on here from the buyers helping out someone with questions.

Wrong again...computer scrapper is a lowlife..so is midwest recycler or whatever his name is...I've contacted him 3 times with no response..I will go w ewasted or easy when I decide to sell..they seem the most reputable..also pts for working components..they all come highly recommended..

The first one is self explanatory if they read the threads. There is good reviews from customers on most of the buyers threads, and if you don't see a good review, then buyer beware. Better???
