My fairly large E-Scrap load for easyrecycle. (6 pics) Pretty neat!

To start off, this is only about half of the full load. The other stuff is midgrade (or Pop-B as myself and my yards call it), very small amount of lowgrade, and other random boards. This is just the cream of the crop. This represents about 1 weeks worth of "good stuff" i process at my shop. I've always dealt local, but it's time i branch out.



I have 2 small piles of motherboards, and yes, 2 of those boards are those "red" motherboards buyers hate. I then have a nice pile of a weird long board with 5 nice gold IC chips soldered to the board. You can see the board with the large square "packeged power" sticker on it. Very curious as to what it is. Have 2 of those boards. Also, i have 2 medium sized boards that i'm grouping with my ram. They both came out of an old IBM (as did much of what you're looking at), but they look like quality ram. I then have my pile of ceramic processors with gold pins.

What i'm most curious about is the pile of 57 silver colored ceramic.....things, with gold pins. Also my large pile of mostly gold IC chips. Very curious about the 2 large boards with what all my yards have told me is gold, not copper. I know that many times when theirs that big amount, it's mainly copper, but in their opinion it's not. We'll see. Not exactly holding my breathe on that one.

Anyway, please look at all the pictures and tell me what yall think. Not gloating or anything, just wanted to share this with you all.

Oh, and pretty much everything here, minus the 2 piles of mother boards/processors/finger cards came out of 60's-70's IBM equipment.

I'm dying here of curiosity...what do the silver color chips (of which you have a pile of) say on them? Any markings?

Sweet load. Sexy it is! The older the sexier I say! Keep us posted after you see Easy. I've only done one load and it went to EasyRecycle and I have no reason why I wouldn't go again. I hope to see him in a month or two. My goal is to take over 4000 lbs my next load. 1000 being of motherboards alone. I'm sitting on over 600 right now. When I do decide to ship I plan on posting step by step. Can't wait!

I'm excited about this load i have. But i'm also excited about any information yall can give me.

Did some research on the IC chips and the IBM chips. Some of the medium sized gold IC's go for around $40 a piece on ebay. Shoot i have 100 or so. The IBM's.....eh. its difficult to find specific info. They could be worth $1 a piece, or they could be worth $100 a piece. Just never know.

I just filled up 2 large flat rate boxes. And still need more. So were looking at $30 and change to ship these boxes to easy. Hope it's worth it.

I believe he only pays that price with full gold legs. You will have to ask him how much he will pay with partial or no gold legs.
