To Brass or not to Brass ?

Brass, Yes I like it & why not @ $1.50 lb (clean) (Dirty) .70 cents still not to shabby, so this is what I need to know .I realize there is an
E-bay but for me often I see that I just want the fast turn over. But at times I score with brass - Nick – Knacks. I realize some one might want the 7 inch round with wale figure on it trivet or a trivet with the bird on it along with candelabras OR do I just go for the $1.50 I have 20 pounds of items

I buy brass do-dads at garage sales all the time for .25 or .50. they look pretty cool, but I just toss them in my scrap bucket.

I love finding brass. It might be my favorite thing to find since it's more available than copper.

I found an old candle base (I think) that was ceramic with red brass legs, a yellow brass cup and a lead plate on the bottom. It probably made me $7 and I almost passed it thinking the whole thing was ceramic.

Similar story, At 2 different yard sales I spent about 50 cents each on what I thought was a dirty candle extinguisher and an other brass vase. Both turned out to be silver. Yey me
