I imagine it varies state to state. I know here it even varies yard to yard. Call a few yards and see what they say.

You're ok without a title. From the State of Maine web site: http://www.maine.gov/sos/bmv/Title/index.htm
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Talk to the guys at the yard, they will tell you whether or not they will take it without the title.

do not know for sure if it would apply to you but all the yards i deal with in nc require a title/ or paper work from titled owner only on cars 2000 and newer anything older all they do is put the vin in a log book along w/ a copy of photo id for whoever brings it in.

Here in Houston most yards want the title. There is one I know if the car is 1978 or older no title needed. If you cut the car in half no title needed. Good luck!

Here it varies from yard to yard as well. I would think you'd be ok on a '94. It's 17 years old.

I hate to see old 1950s cars go to waste, drive them for christs sake! when I get the $$ for a 1958 Plymouth I will restore it to look like Christine, and probably ask God to give me a soul that will live in the car and repair itself every time I accidentally ding it, I am a terrible driver in racing games but hopefully not in real life, My mother taught me how to drive on a straight road and make a U turn, in a 2000 Holden Commodore xD but I prefer 1950s cars I dont care about the gas guzzling it does xD
