Took in 600 LBs of futon beds broke down, did i mess up?

day before i took the stuff in i seen an iron board.so i put it with the pile and the scrap yard ended up giving me all tin prices. 12 dollars i may have screwed my self. what type metal would be futon beds anyway i thought maybe steel at least orlight iron maybe?

well sure was happy last time when iwent in the cans are up 70 cents a pound. i had a gut feeling that was gonna happen. i wonder about those guys at standard in okc somtimes. but just so easy to get in an out.

yes, but he should have seperated the tin out of the rest of the beds and the frame and whatnot.

im not sure about this one but arent futon frames just like really thin metal pipe, if so then wouldnt that be considered tin or light iron? i mean if its a regular bed frame they are a little thicker and heavier, but i think futon frames are just really light. basically what im trying to say is that the futon frames and the ironing board would have been classified the same at my yard, but all yards have different names for classification.

yes ironing board and i had taken time to break those frames down and stage them too, so bad idea placing that one tin piece in the back with the rest

i was thinking that should of been at least $40 we are little lower then up north on everything about.

Did you get a receipt? That is awfully low.

i calculated it out and thats 2 cents a pound. its 0.0950 a pound for light iron up here right now. where are you at?

Seriously. They screwed you HARD, or made a SERIOUS mistake.

The futon frames are tin, simply because they are so thin. But for that much you should gotten somewhere between $50-$60.
