    Scrap Plus BONUS!

Heading to the post office to ship a few items I see 2 people carrying a 46 inch flat screen to the side of the road, I stop and ask if they are throwing it out, yeah explains one guy as a Wii remote hit the screen and broke it. SO I grab it and bring it home, aside of the screen issue it worked fine, broke it down pulled the all boards and threw em up on ebay, just flipped 2 of them 1 for $30 and another for $80! SCORE! Good day for this guy...Scrap on people

I'm always excited to salvage boards out of a flat screen; I usually sell the base as well.
Yeah that's great and all...but...CAN I SCRAP IT!?

On most TVs the boards, base, as well as the remote sell well on ebay. The larger the TV the more of a premium usually you will get. Most times I get 15-20.00 for a remote, 50-100.00 for a base, and the boards are all over the place depending on the model. They sell so well at auction I actually will buy TVs with a broken/cracked screen because if you check on ebay newer TVs can sell for $$$.00 with a cracked screen.
