    Lightbulb So what about capacitors?

    I got a new tech guy this week who says that when we tear boards down it would behoove us to tae off all the little capacitors. Anyone do this? He told me that they are worth 10 cents or more per unit...but I trust your judgement here. What do you think? Worth the time? Thanks. I learn a lot of my peers.

    I'm interested in this also as I just turn my boards in without removing them after I take off any alum/copper, etc.

    Depends on the type of cap's your talking about. Some are not worth anything, others are worth a little with paladium in them but you will have to google search them and study up on what you want to scrap.
